Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Merchants: name, email, mobile, business and KYC details (PAN, bank account, GSTIN), UPI ID, website.
• Customers paying a merchant: email, mobile, payment method type, masked card details (last 4 digits and network), UPI ID, bank/wallet name, transaction amount and status, IP address.

What we do not store

Full card numbers, CVV and card PIN are never stored by PayGate. Card authentication is performed by the card network, issuer or our acquiring partner.

How we use data

To process payments, prevent fraud, settle funds, provide reports and support, and to comply with law (RBI, PMLA, tax and audit requirements). We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

With the merchant you paid, our banking and acquiring partners, card networks/issuers and NPCI (UPI), and authorities when legally required.

Security and retention

Secrets are encrypted at rest, traffic uses TLS, access is logged. Transaction and KYC records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Payment data is stored in India.
